I'm like these are terrible pictures what am I even going to do with myself lol

i'm really dumb sorry i don't do traditional art much but when i do i make sure to take pictures because it's like seeing bigfoot or something I ONLY WHIP MY COPICS OUT AT CONVENTIONS AND I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN GOING TO THOSE LATELY SO HAHHH... when my tablet pen died I'm good

here's questions people probably won't ask but I feel like answering anyway because I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT MYSELF TO MYSELF

What do you use for the lineart?
sakura micron 0.25 mm [link] I got the sepia set and the black/assorted color set i don't know my memory's terrible. I used the sepia, and pink and purple colored ones here.

white stuff/highlights
white sakura gelly roll pen. it's not really special but it sounds kawaii as hell

COLORED LEAD??
yes that's colored lead. I have pink and light blue. i don't know where you can get it i got mine at a stationary store at japan town. YOU CAN PROBABLY FIND SOME AT ANY ART STORE OR ONLINE OR WHATEVER but yes it used to mystify me like woah that's professional.

How many copics, how much were they, where'd you get them?
I have 74 copic sketches and 11 copic ciaos. I got it here [link] and I got set-b and I bought others individually while I was at it because HEY cheap prices and free shipping why not. and my whole set is probably ~$370 omg lol so expensive I treat them like they're unicorn horns

These are so amazing!
I have a few questions: Can you layer copic markers? Did the gelly roll marker just go over the color, or did you leave a place for it? Sorry, but I'm really new to coloring with markers/pens (or even drawing with them '^^ I'm looking into getting some owo)

SORRY FOR THIS REALLY LATE RESPONSE my sleeping's a bit messed up so i haven't been checking DA so much

the gelly roll totally goes over colors and lines! no worries-- but for like the white on hair shines or whatever you need to carefully leave whites behind

and you totally can layer copic markers <3 they're wonderful for blending and layering. i'm not that experienced with them but hope you can find help in this tutorial [link] it influenced my way of using copics to be honest! thank you so much for asking and I'll do my best to help if you have more questions
