Seriously...I've just began doing adoptables and already ran into this kind of stuff. I tried to sell my first adoptable for 2$, and I was told the same exact thing "OMG TOO EXPENSIVE!". What the hell? Do these people even know the amount of hours artists take to create these pieces? Good for you. Sell your adoptable for whatever price you think it's fair.

Anyone else who thinks it is too expensive, here's what you can do: find a cheaper one from someone else. Simple.

This is the first time I've been so disgusted by something that I actually typed something out. sfkjdkf you people should know you're the reason why artists NEVER get payed properly????? Do you guys know what minimum wage is? It's 7 frickin dollars so lets assume she worked 2 hours on this and therefore it is indeed a suitable price!! It looks like she didnt use a base either? She even lets you do whatever you fucking want with this a lot of adopt makers are like "you cant do this, you cant do that" so this is a great deal omg!
Think about it: You can add more details to her, spice her up yourself!! You can do a billion things with her in contrast to other adopts which are incredibly detailed but then "don't change the design" and then your ability to make the adopt truly your own is kind of hindered??
And again, don't get mad at her for getting mad at YOU , because she has every right to be? You keep ranting on and on about the price when you can simple close the window, or browse other adopts which you might like.
Do you even know how anything works??? I'm going to smash your front door open, grab a kitchen knife, and carve "MINIMUM WAGE" ON TO EVERY WALL IN YOUR HOUSE

How is her prices offensive to other adopt artists? I'm draw adopts too and I dont mind at all because it was her decision to price this at what she did, and mine was my decision? Maybe you should think about how long it took you to make your adopts and then price them? Now I do agree, while the design is simple and not incredibly detailed, and isnt for everyone, NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO BUY THIS!! If you're an adopt maker, and you feel bad that this actually sold at this price well la di da doo maybe you should rethink your own prices or even do a little research??

You guys are the reason my parents don't want me to be an artist, for art to be my sole source of income, because there people like you running around who don't even know how to appreciate art, who wont pay me properly no matter how long or how hard I slave over a piece.

I am not a 'fan' nor 'friend' of Niaro, this happens to be the first deviation of hers I have come across when randomly browsing adoptables, but I feel almost physical pain for her and she has my deepest sympathy.

This caught my eye because it is indeed very good quality in comparison to other adoptables!! I would have bought her if I had enough money saved up ; o ;

But next time advise you to mark the comments complaining about the price as spam? Or create a policy on it, by explaining what minimum wage is!! Don't buy into their nagging!!

I don't understand why other DA artists feel the need to devalue their peer's work...? Isn't it a good thing that artists should be payed well? It means better pay for yourself in the long run if your community values artwork more. Instead of trying to demean or devalue another artist's success and worth, we should be encouraging it.

o, one thing i would like to say to Frontiier is that you really shouldn't cut from one sentence to another, it makes your writting choppy and hard to focus on.

no, i have questions about adoptables. See, i like to make my own characters, my question is why do people make adoptables? are they for people who arn't that good at drawing, so they can have there own characters or are they used as a way to give someone the right to use some of your character ideas? design, some combination of the two or is it something else that i've compleatly missed.
